Tenn GXP-38-SM Gas Nailer drives thousands of nails a day accurately and consistently with
very little operator effort. Although designed for sinking nails into concrete, this
hardworking tool is just as effective when nailing into brickwork, concrete block,
and even structural steel.

A gas nailer is powered by an internal combustion engine similar to a car’s engine.
It has a cylinder with a piston, a battery and spark plug. A disposable mini fuel tank, called
a fuel cell, supplies the fuel – liquid propane gas. When the nose of the nailer is depressed against
the work surface, a dose of gas is drawn from the fuel cell and injected into the cylinder. Pulling the
trigger generates a spark, which ignites the gas, producing a small explosion above the piston. The
energy released propels the piston which in turn hammers the nail into the work surface.
